On the 20th of December 2007 the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus had elected Isotko Vladimir Petrovich, Ryabtsev Leonid Michailovich, Chigrinov Sergey Petrovich as Judges of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus.

On 17 December, the President of the Republic of Belarus signed Decree ¹ 643, which, as from 1 January 2008, cancels permit stamps put in Belarusian passports to allow their owners to make temporary trips abroad.
Accordingly, a passport of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus will be valid for temporary trips abroad without this permit stamp.
Belarusian experts are currently working on a database that would contain information about the citizens of the Republic of Belarus, who are temporary limited in their right to leave the country. The Decree approves the provisions on the database, which explain how the database will be managed, what government bodies will be responsible for providing information for the database, and explain the scheme of transmitting information from the database to the State Border Committee and the mechanism of providing this information to citizens.

On the 3rd of December 2007 a meeting of the Chairman of the Constitutional Curt of the Republic of Belarus Grigory Vasilevich with the delegation of the Supreme National Prosecution Office of the Chinese National Republic headed by the Prosecutor of the National Prosecution Office of the Tsyan Su province Mr. Jhou Chzhan Hua took place in the Constitutional Court.
Grigory Vasilevich informed the guests about the goals of the constitutional control, structure and authorities of the Constitutional Court. Mr.Jzhou Chzhan Hua expressed gratitude for the interesting meeting.

in the scientific and practical Seminar "Constitution and other sources
of law: subordination and problems of law application" that was held on
16-17 February 2007 in Minsk. Grigory A. Vasilevich, the Chairman of the
Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus, made the report on the
subject of "Acts of bodies of the judiciary: role and place in national
legal system". Nokolai S. Bondar and Gadis A. Gadzhiev, the judges of the
Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, also took part in the Seminar.
